Commutation Petition and Treaty Transfer

All federal defendants are eligible to petition the President of the United States for commutation. Because of this, there are currently over 18,000 pending petitions. To ensure that a petition receives the consideration it deserves, it must be detailed yet concise and set forth a clear reason why a defendant is eligible to have their sentence reduced.
All non-citizens are eligible to petition the United States to serve their sentence in their home country. Successful petitions assert that the interest of the United States merit the service of the sentence in the defendant’s home country. At McCracken Stoll & Associates we can help with both of these. We are one of the few companies that have the distinction of having a commutation petition and a treaty transfer agreement granted under three different presidents.
